This was sexy, fast and fun! I read this in about 2 hours and fricking loved every bit of it. I think i missed being able to just enjoy a quick read. Piper is hilarious and I love her style and sass and she has LOADS of both! Kade is an anomaly sexy, tatted business man with a tough yet nerdy exterior. I loved that these two were practically at each other’s throats for most of their lives and were to oblivious to know each other’s feelings. The dose of CRAZY was a perfect little spice to what could have been the typical played out boy and girl realize their feelings and fall in love type of story. I really love that the author chose the idea of Vipers Den because I love a different outlook on things. Viper’s Den is an alternative salon. Alternative. So please don’t walk in and ask for the Nicole Kidman look – it’s not going to work :)It was nice to see a main female character with confidence and complete lack of humility. Piper is totally bad ass, she knows it and isn’t afraid to remind everyone else regularly. She rules over her world like a queen with a David Bowie in the Labyrinth style. She can be sweet but is most certainly hell on wheels so watch out!

I loved this story!
A timeless story of loathing a person but really in the back of your heart you deep down love that person!They started out as a "fake" relationship to try to scare off a crazy ex girlfriend. But the more they spent time together they realized they were falling in love and things became real!
This was a great read! Cant wait to see what comes up next!
I don't normally read short stories but this one was well short but sweet nonetheless and I just devoured every word Heller wrote so...props Heller. I can honestly say that Piper was BAD ASS! She was sassy, sexy, and just had an overall I don't give a shiz attitude... and I absolutely LOVED IT!!! kade was what I call my kind of man.. hot and can cook! Anyway I recommend this book immensely so you should just buy it! ;)
The blurb sold it to me. I knew I'd like it. And I did!

It's a short but fun read, it has its hot parts as well and really, Kade's a hot geek. Who doesn't love a hot geek?

I actually wish it were longer but it works as a novella, as well.

Looking forward to more from this series.

"Vipers Den Part One Piper & Kade" by J.B. Heller is a wonderful book one to this series. Piper is a hairdresser with her own shop and Kade is computer wiz and a hottie. He's also Piper's brothers best friend. When a psycho ex girl that Kade dated starts stalking him, he asks Piper to help him out by pretending to be his girlfriend. Can they make everyone believe they're a real couple or they only fooling themselves?

OMG I loved this book so much! It sucked me and made me want to hook up with Kade myself! Great characters, steamy scenes, and great story.
What a cute, quick story! Kade has been in love with Piper for years, but never acted on his feelings because his best friend Rhett is her big brother. When Jamie, a girl Kade went out with only a few times starts to stalk him, he has a solution. Get Piper to agree to be his pretend girlfriend. Kade thinks this will not only cause Jamie to leave him alone, but it will also help Piper so her mom will stop setting her up with random guys. Kade never thought Piper would share in the feelings he has. But has far will Jamie go?

This was such a sweet story. Piper is a spitfire and Kade is a sweetheart. They were so perfect for each other. Can't believe it took them so many years to actually go for it. This story isn't long and was made me smile. I'll continue with the next in series for sure.

This is book one in a novella series so it’s a quickie stand-alone read, but it still serves up a cute story. Piper is a strong, independent girl, running her own businesses and not cowering at the threat of Kade’s creepy stalker. It was refreshing to see a heroine with balls who confronts the enemy head-on rather than being a weak, scared victim of jealousy. Kade is quite the sexy book boyfriend. He’s cooks in the kitchen and takes control in the bedroom. What more could you want?
